Alcolin Bonding and Keying Agent.

Concentrated high-quality bonding and keying liquid. It is specially designed to bond new surfaces to old surfaces. It can also be used as a primer to strengthen surfaces that are chalky or crumbly.

APPLICATION AND USES

  • Multi-purpose.

  • Perfect for projects that require better water resistance.

  • Ideal to create a protective lining.

  • It is perfect as a keying agent (bonding agent that works on surfaces like cement, concrete or plaster), waterproofing, enhancer, barrier coating and adhesive.

  • First-rate adhesion to several surfaces like concrete, PVA, wood, plaster, enamel paint, brick, mortar, acrylic paint, stone and metal.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Detailed user instructions can be found in the enclosed instruction pamphlet.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

  • Store in a cool and dry place out of direct sunlight in the original container.

  • Keep the container tightly sealed.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Ideally, store below 25º C.

  • Do not store below 0º C or above 30º C

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

  • If stored correctly the product has a shelf life of at least 12 months.

  • The product is not necessarily unusable after this time, but it is recommended that a usability test be done before using.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Wear the appropriate safety gear like gloves and safety goggles.

  • Avoid direct skin contact or eye contact. In the event of contact rinse thoroughly with clean cold water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

WARNINGS AND LIMITATIONS

  • Not recommended as a primer for certain plastics like, polyethylene (e.g. grocery bags and shampoo bottles) and polypropylene (e.g. model planes or cars).

  • Should not be used as a final coating.

  • Not recommended as a primer between surfaces that change at different rates when exposed to temperature or humidity changes, for example, plaster and wood.

  • Cannot prevent problems related to rising damp (moisture absorbed by walls from the ground).

  • Should be diluted if applied to a Crete stone surface.

  • Do not empty the product into drains.
